Background
Gursheel is a Consultant on the Strategy & Finance team at Earth Finance, helping clients translate sustainability commitments into commercial strategy.
Prior to Earth Finance, he spent six years at Olam International across commodities trading and sustainability leadership roles, most recently as General Manager in Indonesia and Head of Sustainability for Asia-Pacific. He owned the commercial P&L for the Indonesian cocoa trading business while setting sustainability strategy across the region and, led its smallholder supplier programs in partnership with the largest buyers in the chocolate industry. That operating background informs how he approaches the commercial viability of client strategies today.
He holds an MS in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and a BE in Computer Science and Engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
Outside of work, he is an avid reader and competitive quizzer, cooks, and follows mechanical watchmaking.
