Who we serve

Transportation

As one of the largest contributors to global greenhouse gas emissions, transportation plays a pivotal role in the journey to a sustainable economy. The value of decarbonizing transportation, whether through renewable fuels or electrification, lies in its broad and lasting benefits—cleaner air and water in our cities, more resilient infrastructure, and opportunities for equitable growth.

Our team brings a deep understanding of the renewable fuels and electrification value chains. We identify areas ripe for public/private partnerships and scale innovative solutions yielding environmental and financial benefits across multiple modes of transportation.

Aviation

Scale systems-level solutions to sustainable aviation.

Embracing cleaner, drop-in fuels like sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) is critical to meeting global environmental goals while supporting the projected growth of aviation. However, the SAF transition is facing undeniable headwinds, including limited production, lack of durable policy, a challenging financing market, and more.

Our team understands that accelerating the production and adoption of SAF requires multiple, systems-level interventions. We help fuel producers, corporations, airports, ports, and other value chain stakeholders secure innovative project financing, develop robust renewable fuels transition strategies, advocate for supportive policy, and supercharge the sustainable aviation ecosystem

Maritime

Accelerate a coordinated approach to maritime fuel production.

Maritime transportation is essential to global commerce – over 80% of world trade by volume is carried by sea. However, nearly all fleets still use conventional fuels. With limited international oversight and coordination on feedstocks and production pathways (ammonia, green methanol, hydrogen fuel cells, etc.), the shift toward lower-carbon fuel alternatives has been slow and fragmented.

We work with fleet owners, ports, innovative startups, and corporations to accelerate a coordinated approach to fuel adoption and production. Our interventions include promoting green corridors, identifying innovative financing models, building capacity across the entire maritime fuels value chain, advocating for supportive policy, and more.

Trucking

Build state-specific renewable fuel and electrification strategies.

The trucking industry faces sizable barriers to shifting away from fossil-based energy sources. Fuel cell electric trucks still have limitations in range, weight capacity, and infrastructure, and drop-in replacements like renewable diesel primarily exist on the West Coast where supportive policies have created viable renewable fuel markets. In a deeply fragmented landscape with inconsistent demand signals, manufacturers and fleet owners often can’t justify the high CapEx investment for lower-carbon solutions.

Our team understands the policy, strategy, and financial nuances of renewable fuels and electrification markets. We help truck manufacturers and fleet operators for cargo, drayage, waste management, and long-haul trucking develop state-specific fuel strategies that maximize financial incentives and environmental impact.

Next-generation propulsion

Develop financially viable interventions for emerging technologies.

Hydrogen fuel cells and electric batteries, while emerging technologies, have an important role to play in the long-term renewable fuels landscape. They have the potential to power industries like long-haul trucking, drayage, cargo handling, commuter aircraft, and more.

Sizable, systems-level barriers still exist to scaling these solutions. In addition to the weight and energy compromises of existing technologies, the infrastructure and markets to support them do not yet exist.

We help municipalities, airports, ports, corporations, and fixed based operators integrate next-generation propulsion technologies into their long-term energy strategy, balancing emerging solutions with drop-in alternatives available today.
